HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?
Your project timeline can vary depending on the type of services that you've chosen. Typically a Room•by•Room design project can take approximately two-three weeks. Any add-ons will extend the expected timeline in addition to Collectively Kay's present work load. We certainly try to tackle projects as quickly as possible. When you receive your deposit invoice an estimated project timeline will be given to you at that time.
HOW DOES CORRESPONDENCE WORK?
All correspondence for Room•by•Room design projects will be done through email only. Unless you've purchased a coaching session then of course Skype will be used.
HOW CAN I BE SURE FURNITURE AND DESIGN ELEMENTS FIT MY ROOM?
It's up to you to measure your room very carefully. Please follow the downloadable document here for further information. At Collectively Kay we are not responsible for any information provided to us incorrectly. We plan furniture placement to suit a cohesive floor plan and layout, based on the info provided. But here's the great part, remember you are in control of what you purchase. So if you find a discrepancy later after the room is designed. Double check measurements prior to purchasing and you'll thank yourself in the long run.
WHEN DO I PAY THE REMAINDER OF MY BALANCE?
In order for CK to deliver your newly designed room to your inbox. You will be invoiced the remaining 50% and are required to submit payment in full, before CK can send all that goodness your way.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE INFORMATION I PROVIDE? I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY PRIVACY?
Any information shared with CK through the website and correspondence will be respected and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent. We will keep your information filed for up to a year from project start date, then it will be deleted from our records completely. Unless, you have authorized us to use photos, images, etc for marketing and/or promotional use. In this case, this will be arranged through written consent.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUBMIT ONCE I RECEIVE MY DEPOSIT EMAIL?
We want you to have the best designed room possible. The more you provide us, the better your room will match your needs, wants, and aesthetics. Once you receive your deposit invoice you will have to then send your room inspiration images, furniture pieces you would like used in the room, photos, and measurements. Don't worry, we'll send a checklist your way to help you out. Please send all information to email@example.com.
WHAT IF I WANT TO ADD SOMETHING AFTER I'VE SUBMITTED MY QUESTIONNAIRE?
That's ok, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org any further comments or questions, during any point through the design process, we are here to accommodate you. But please be respectful, if you have changed your mind on something, this can add time to the design process. Typically we send out a reminder email we are about to start your project, that time is the perfect time to add anything you may want!
WHEN DO I NEED TO SUBMIT MY DEPOSIT?
Submitting your 50% non refundable deposit is at your leisure, but do remember, you don't officially go down into our design schedule, nor can we start your project until we receive it. Confirmation emails will go out accordingly! If we have not receive a deposit with-in 30 days, your forms will have to be submitted again.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR A COACHING SESSION?
A coaching session must be scheduled 72 hours or more prior to the future mutually scheduled time. This allows you to create the meeting "agenda" to make the best use of your time. I'm able to study materials given to me through email and make comments and suggestions to suit your project more effectively this way. Believe me you'll get way more out of your coaching session and it a better use of your time, so a little prep is key. The call will ONLY be done on Skype so please ensure you have an account and share that in the DESIGN COACH FORM. Don't have one? Don't worry it's free to sign-up and use!
